• Bass is a great instrument to begin learning whatever your age. The foundational skills for playing bass are not too complex and can be mastered in a very short period of time. However, like a lot of things in life, getting fairly good takes longer!

I offer relaxed and informative lessons to guide you through the best techniques for playing bass and methods to learn those techniques. Rock, Punk, Jazz, Pop, Funk, R’n’B and more…I have experience successfully teaching all styles.

Information for parents: Starting to play bass can serve as a helpful stepping stone to ultimately playing guitar for children. Most of my students find that they usually keep up their bass skills even if they have moved onto guitar, or try to learn both at the same time. Either way, bass is the perfect foundational instrument to learn. If you are interested in your child starting grades, I have extensive experience helping students to master them. I understand how stressful exam times can be, which is why I try my best to make the lessons fun and to ensure that your son or daughter gets the very top grades in all their musical exams.
